Meet Lara
Lara Lincoln, PMP
I am a certified project manager with an eye for detail and a quirky passion for paperwork and planning. In the decade prior to starting Sprightly Services LLC in 2020, I earned my bachelor’s degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill — where I spent a year working for the Chancellor, learning strategic planning and academic administration before launching a military to academic bridge program — and spent four years planning and delivering a variety of training programs for the Department of Defense while working for a small nonprofit.
Now at Duke University School of Law, I’m working in the Career & Professional Development Center, building a new website for student resources, ensuring a consistent voice across published materials, and streamlining data collection and organizational operations.
Small organizations require an ‘all hands on deck’ approach to business, and that has allowed me to be meaningfully involved with customer relationship management, WordPress website design and maintenance, and branding & marketing efforts. These experiences have developed in me a diverse skill set that I am excited to use to help others succeed in their life and business.

Why I wander…
I have spent my adult life seeking out the unfamiliar, from joining the Air Force in 2000 at the age of 17, where I worked in Human Resources, to applying to community college after I saw my plans for my future collapse in the 2008 recession, to applying to UNC as a first generation high school graduate — all because I dared to dream. From the time of my enlistment until today, a common thread has been my unending drive to improve ― to improve myself, my environment, and the lives of those around me.
I’ve worked for a lieutenant colonel, a chancellor, and a retired general; I’ve been introduced to business principles through the lenses of the public and private sectors, from both academia and the corporate world. Now, I find myself homesick for a place I’ve yet to explore, ready for a new environment with new experiences. Are my next experiences working with you?
